Fire Compartmentation Survey & Fire Stopping Remedial
Service Overview
Following instruction from our client, CBRE , Element PFP were tasked with completion of all passive fire remedials works identified from a full comprehensive PFP survey, in order to bring the overall standards of compliance in line with today’s specifications. This particular project is staged across a 3 phase program to ensure the function of the building can continue, while a pragmatic approach is taken in order to reduce the overall fire safety risk.

Challenges Faced
Conducting fire stopping surveys and remedial works at The Cube presents several unique challenges. The complex architecture can make it difficult to cover all areas efficiently and certain fire stopping tasks may require working at significant heights, posing safety risks. Our team are trained and certified to carry out fire stopping installations in all capacities and ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place. The design and construction of the stadium may present unique challenges, such as hard-to-reach areas or non-standard construction materials, whilst also navigating and working around existing installations like electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems without causing damage.
By anticipating and addressing these challenges, Element Passive Fire Protection effectively conducted fire stopping surveys and remedial works at The Cube, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance.
